I dont drive the Mansfield gap, (Called Smugglers Notch) that often, it is very tight, too tight really to have much fun. I prefer Lincoln Gap, (also called Muculaghs turnpike) which is near Sugar Bush. Much faster, and during the week fewer cars. On the weekend, bikers are out there trying to throw themselves off the mountain. The state police have started to have more of a presence there because of it.

There are TONS of great roads in Vermont, rt 100 being one of the best. Lots of others as well.

Black in Vermont in the winter turns into slate grey with all teh salt and grime we have. Black looks best when clean, and worst when dirty, whcih is about 5 months of the year here.
