The March 03 issue of the Automobile magazine stating,

"........expected price of less than $35,000. The STi goes onsale June 1st, four moths after the evolution's official on-sale date."

Well, i think is probably another magazine speculation.

This also jives what was said in the March 03 Road & Track:

"When the STi hits U.S. shores in June, expect it to cost just north of $30,000"

03 March Car & Driver:
"...goes on sale this year as 2004 model for about $32,000".

Let's hope these price speculations are true.

My salesman I talk to regularly keeps telling me June also. He says they might have one as early as May. Last time I talked to him he also said at the last meeting he heard it was going to be more limited then he thought.

My dealer and dealer rep has always said the first cars for customers would not arrive until June/July. They did say that a "tester" or "showroom car" would be available in May. But they have said nothing about cost yet.

Spoke to my dealer yesterday, he said that there would be NO tester or showroom car and the car would not be available for lease or test-drive. He did say that end of may/very early June was the date?! Maybe there will be different things for different areas?

im guessing CA and East coast will get their cars before us poor blokes in the mid west / west
