I was visiting my girlfriend in Olympia, WA yesterday afternoon. This is a shot I took on my way home around 5:30PM . . . on I-5 around Boeing Field in south Seattle . . .

Bear in mind, I ordered a Silver/Silver about 3-4 weeks ago from Carter Subaru in north Seattle. . . so they could guarantee delivery sometime in later October.

I'm going to call Joe Spitz tomorrow to see if that was mine . . . but right now, I'm ready to pee my pants. :p

Wow, that must be pretty exciting. I remember seeing my first WRX in May of 2001 during my drive up to Oregon from AZ. It must have been some sort of delivery frenzy because I saw about 20-30 (at least) on about 5 different trucks. It was weird seeing them on trucks without ever having seen them in person.

Good luck and I hope it's yours (so the torture will finally be over).

Okay. . . false alarm, people. That isn't mine, but it DID go to Carter Subaru that day. Upon verifying with Joe this morning, mine should arrive in exactly one week. YES!!!!! :D

I'll be in watching 24 on tuesday....

BTW, what do you mean by de-modding the civic (are you trying to go back to stock condition?), and why would you do that...?

Are you keeping it or selling it?

He probably needs to get a bunch of stereo and other gear (wheels) out/off before turning it in to the dealer as his trade in. Just a guess.

NO NO NO. The Civic was a show car. . . nothing more. Lights at car shows (tastefully done of course) get you noticed. The only neons I'll even consider in the STi would be some blue interior ones for the footwells to liven things up a bit. We'll see, though. I'm more interested in just enjoying the car than making it "pretty". :D

Edmund's review

I was just kidding, I figured with that list you had a show car. Blue footwell lights would be cool.

I don't plan to do much to mine either. Tints, sound, and that's it for a long time. Eventually maybe some minor suspension and engine upgrades.
