Fine? What does that mean? What will you do with it? But “fine”? No. There is no 300hp production car that will be fine with three times that. You've already written as much! It might survive for a bit, even longer than it has any right too. But fine? Sure if your willing to fix whatever you break.

How much do you plan to spend?

Define, "reliably" and we'll be able to give you a better answer. What are you going to do with it?

have you ever been in an AWD car with over 400 whp?

are you planning on tracking or taking to the drag strip?

I'm not trying to troll you but 800-900 whp/wtq in a Subaru is going to cost a lot and not be very street able. the STi 6 speed is known to be super strong, and anecdotally is "good" to about 800 whp/wtq in stock form. but at that power level you are going to be breaking a lot of stuff consistently.

what is your expectation?

do you even realize how much its going to cost you to build 800hp sti? you can buy another sti, at that power level your car will never be reliable, no matter how good are the parts and how much money youre gonna dump into it, something will always keep on breakin, and repairs going to be costly too, i personally recommend buy a different build platform, i always liked boosted corvettes.

my car at its power level is about too much for the street. I cant really make use of Sport sharp, so i typically just drive in sport which is ~400 whp on E70

With the heavy clutch, E85 etc its not really a car I'd say I'd want to take a road trip in.

but sure, 800 whp is super street friendly lol

Some us have different tolerances, I used to be able to put up with a more aggressive setup, but if it doesn't drive like a stock car or very near, I don't enjoy driving it on the street.

I have a race car, it's not something I like driving regularly on the street, and it has a smooth clutch... But it's stiff and drones a lot.
