Looks like Mitsubishi's not going to be bring the real EVO for a while. Instead, a 250hp non-Brembo, non-ACD/AYC turbo Cedia.

Don't know if this affects what kind of STi we'll get, but I would have preferred Subaru having better competition than this.

Kinda scary. If the US gets that travesty of a car (the Evo) Subaru could use that as an excuse to bring us a less that exciting STi. On the other hand, if they bring as close to the JDM spec STi as they can, that can only mean more Subie sales and that can't be bad for them.

Yet another thing to add to the wait-and-see list.

yes this is definitely a wait-and-see thing, I'm skeptical about the cedia replacing the evoVII in the us although i've heard of the cedia i doubt it will be the closest thing the us will get to an evo.
some people on that board were saying they'll release the real evo for over 30K b/c they couldn't possibly do it under thirty with all the goodies. i just hope this doesn't affect STi pricing.

While those are rumors, there is the possibility that both Cedia Evo and the real-deal Ralliart Lancer Evolution are released the same time next year.
