Does anyone know where I can get just the clear plastic that goes over the MFD instead of buying the whole thing?

You would just buy a 'clear-bra' wrap and do it yourself. It is like applying a screen protector on your phone screen. You could also pay any car detail shop that does wraps or a wrap-shop to do it for you.
