Take a look at this: http://www.iwsti.com/forums/gd-general/89922-used-sti-buyers-guide.html

With that kind of price range, my suggestion is to continue saving up and stay away from modded cars. Modded cars are more prone to potential problems if you don't know what you're doing + it could make you in a even worse financial situation.

On a general note, make sure to get a compression test done, carfax, and have a trusted mechanic/tuner look over it.
These are some local listings I am looking at! Please check them out and give me some feedback! And is it worth it to get a Sti or should I get a wrx?

"Is it worth it?" is a very subjective matter and preference. Like I said, you are better off saving for a while. With a quick search, you'll find out these cars aren't exactly cheap to maintain.

Those 3 ads above looks sketchy to me. I'd say pass on with a blink of an eye.

The first is sketchy. I can't explain why. Great on gas?
If I was selling my sti I would list everything I replaced and with more information. Like new turbo, well stock? Upgraded? Tuned? The fact the guy barely list any information and for the asking price is a joke.

If I had the pick one it would be the third one, but then again that $17k is out of my price range.
Well the first one I have seen in person and it is beautiful and then the guy sold the car to the dealership because I didnt have the money
can you guys maybe find some local listings to you guys and link some non sketchy ones?:)
honestly buying these car is more of a patience game. so many of them are just molested and improperly maintained that it makes finding the right one hard.the best option is to find one stock or as close to stock, and those dont show up often. waited 4 months before i found the right one for me
