i think that the wrx is actually an impreza, because isnt that what it has been until the body style changed?

The WRX was, and still is an impreza. It's just not advertized that way in the US. The STi we are getting is an Impreza also, although there is an STi Legacy in Japan, and I have heard rumors that we may be getting one over here at some point as well.
