Awesome! You should do the Whiteline rear diff bushing inserts and Kartboy rear subframe bushing inserts next. They also make a nice difference and are pretty cheap! :)

Will do!!!

I'm down! I'll be around most of Sunday/Monday. Also I'll be going to Cars and Coffee in Great Falls on Saturday morning. I think some other MAIC subies are showing up for that.

Once my sister give me a date on a weekend coming up. I will let you know :)

New Yellows and P45R

These damn mods dont stop. I cant help it, but I want more! so.... I went to IAG on Monday (sept 13th) to install the RCE yellows. I also wanted to go wider while installing the springs so I got the P45R 18x9.5 +30 with Hankook ventus v12 255/35/18 wrapped around them. I was in MD all day with the gf, so time flew by pretty quick.

Got the front and back fenders rolled and pulled to fit the fat a$$ wheels on :) looks NIIIIACE!!!

IAG did a great job with the install and alignment. They always do treat me well there.. THanks guys!

car looks nice and most importantly it feels REAL good. turns feel super tight and the comfort is still there. I 495s was real smooth and same with 66w (except the contruction area). the car took it like a champ :)

I will play with the car more this week to see how the car feels around sharp turns, u turns, braking on a dime, accelerating WOT, and driving like a maniac :)

to Hokie, mike in cville, and whoever else in our area... sister wants to gather up some time soon to take pics... Ill let you guys know :)

my phone pics...

at IAG

today (sept 14th) parking lot at work.

Nice pics! Your car looks great.
thanks dude :) my sister wanted to practice the fly by shots before gathering up. We did it by Manassas Battle field.

Ill try and something up for NOV for a little shoot day.

btw, sorry about your car :( My car got hit by torn tire from a semi truck over the summer. Shattered my license plate frame and bend the SHAT out of my license plate. It left a lot of black crap on my bumper, but it didnt crack thank gawd.

llTomTomll's Journal - installing/installed hella tones

its been awhile! :)

I installed the hella tones this past Saturday and it was a real easy install.
I painted them silver and easily mounted them where the oem horn was :) It looks good and sounds super loud. I love them! (why didnt I do this earlier?!)

Spray painting the horns and clear coating took the most time (do it before you take the bumper off) This was more time consuming then the entire installation of the hella tones (appx 1hr)

Items needed:

*12 gauge wire
*female/male 12 gauge connector
*an extra 8mm 1.25x20mm bolt and nut (same as the oem bolt that connects the factory horn) - home depot
*zip ties
*electrical wire cutter
*electrical tape
*duplicolor nissan spray paint/clear coat (advance auto parts)

First, I took the bumper off (literally takes 5 mins tops)

*unhook the battery
*Unscrewed the stock horn and unplugged the male connector that the car already provides (it will connect straight to the hella tones).
*attach where the oem horn was with the hella tone (use the same bolt). ground the hella tone.
*disconnect the 2nd horn located by the right wheel. use that factory wire and connect a female connector and use a 12 gauge wire and feed it to front (zip tie the wire or whatever you want to do)
*there is a hole that is provided and attach the 2nd hella tone on the opposite side of the 1st hella tone. Use the 8mm bolt and nut here. Ground it on the same bolt.
*hook the battery up and HONK AWAY!
*bumper goes back on in 5 min!

*** no relay is needed!!!!!!

Sorry i didnt take install pics, but here you go :)
winter tires and my roof rack!!!

Very nice! I've been thinking about getting some with the subimods wiring harness.

I may hit you up in the spring when I swap on my second bumper... 5 minutes off and 5 mins on sounds good to me.

Yea dude, hit me up :)

I think the subimod harness spreads out the hella tones more then how I have them set up, but oh well :)

Looking good bro, I got the supertones and wiring harness comign for xmas and am waiting for springtime to install. When I did this on my 08 wrx I didnt even take the bumper off though. Me and my stepfather just pulled back the grill, which was a major PITA.. this time I think I am just going to remove the grill though. I left the passenger side horn intact, I didnt really notice it when I used the supertones. Anyways, looks great in silver good job!
