Preliminary SCCA Classification of the STi

Alfredob1 and I will be at the Los Angeles showing of the STi tomorrow. JJ is headed to the Detroit Autoshow with camera in hand.

There should be plenty of pix very soon. Hopefully, a little more information as well. 8)

Man, if I didn't have to work Monday I would tell you to stop in Chicago on your way and pick me up. I would take the day off but I just started a new contract last week and haven't been able to do anything all last week cause, of course, I didn't get all of my ID's and passords for the system till Friday afternoon.

dam dude!!! yea that would of been perfect, but i just got my budy to take off of work on monday too today lol , he first told me he couldnt, but then like 10 minutes later called me back and said fuk it im goin i got sumone to cover for me! hahaha but yea if u change your mind shoot me up tonight on the celly.....otherwise ill have my labtop and cameras too to show pics and possiblry videos' if i can figure out how to transfer it over on pc lol

A couple of notes while the pics are uploading:

1) Had to beg to get them to open the hood. I think that is because this thing is obviously pre-production. I mean, if you know what a RS-T looks like under the hood, you know where I am coming from. Electrical tape galore, etc...

2) I kept a low profile, but I think the people they have working the booths are contractors, not SOA employees anyway. Maybe I will try and talk to someone tommorow, but today I did not.

3) The Seat Issue: The seats ARE regular WRX 04+ seats covered in the escaine (suede).

Go at your own risk. I don't know that the STi will be there. There was a special invitation only pass for a few people to see the STi at the Peterson Auto Museum in LA. After that the car would go to Utah for a dealer meeting on the 16th.

So, are they going to LA Auto Show on the way? I don't know. They drove the STi out of the museum down the parking structure ramp and out of site. We followed later and saw enclosed red and white trailers, hitched to UD's.

Is the download not there anymore? I went to Downloads and there was a link, but according to the details it said it was 0 bytes and file now found

It was really amazing to see the sweep in person...I had read about it somewhere that the gauges were going to do that and was hoping that they'd start it up so we could see
