Hi all,

I've been waiting since July to get a WRX now since rumors are that the STi will be out in March-May I think I'll wait for that. Does anyone have any info on waiting lists in the NY,NJ,PA area? I live in Paramus NJ and any dealer in a 100 mile radius is within reason. I posted this in the I-club and no one has responded yet >100 views though

Well since orders are technically being taken by Subaru now, you should be able to go to just about any Subaru dealer that will take the time to check with SOA and put your order through. Just don't give a $10k non-refundable deposit or agree to pay $5k over sticker. Good luck.

Hi, I am on the waiting list at Castle Subaru in Delaware. If you call ask for Tracy or Ruth. Both are very nice sales people.

I just got a reply from my mass e-mail to 20+ dealers in the NJ, NY, and CT area. Here is the first reply from Liberty Subaru in Oradel NJ:
"We should have the car in March. We will be glad to help you anyway we can. 1-888-SUBY4WD."

This is from Flemington Subaru, I may go this weekend with my check book :
"Hi Michael,

I have two STi's on order and I never charge list price (MSRP) I would make a deal right now and put you on the list w/ a deposit for $400.00 under List Price...

I am out of the office until tomorrow morning, so if you are interested, give me a call Thursday between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and we'll put the order together...

Hey if you want call up Subaru of Hillside and ask to speak with Bill Powell, so far he's helped everyone out that I've sent their. I believe that dealership is only recieving them one at a time, but possibly two in august. I on the list for sept, so I'm hoping for them to recieve two in august. I've also found out Liberty Subaru is selling STi's for 35k (most dealerships are going to sell them for that price but Hillside is willing to sell for less probably), and nothing less, I'm getting mine at a fairly good deal compared to them and Bill will work with anyone to get them what they want. Call him at 973-923-4100, tell him Nuno had you call him about an STi. If you want to go meet him in person, it's easy to get to the dealership from Parmus.

Correction, they will only recieve 1 STi per month and are selling the car at MSRP.
