If you already havn't guessed.. I'm in the market for a built motor. I wanted to collect some people's opinions/experiences with built motors they've had. I don't want this to turn into a thread bashing a certain tuner's/companies motors. Honestly, I'm not going to even ask who built the motor. add that info if you like, but I don't want this thread to catch on fire. Just keep it relevant.
Here's want info I'm looking for:
-How long your built motor has lasted you
-What kind of driving do you do
-What you had done to the motor (rods, bearings, crank, pistons, honed cylinders.. blah blah)
-If anything went wrong, what did?
-Downsides to a built motor that you've noticed
-What setup you are running on that built motor (ex. a 35r tuned at xx psi etc..)
-any advice is appreciated as well.
