Damn dealer drilled my front bumper for a license plate. :evil:

Did anyone keep their plugs? I am not going to have front plates, so I want to cover up the ugly mess that the dealer made.

POOP!!! My dealer smashed two holes in the front of my car to put headlights in. I am soooo pissed! I told him i was gonna roof mount some hella spotlights for nighttime illumination and he forgot. ARGHHHHH :lol:

Yeah, mine has the two big holes too. Assuming it came that way since Arizona doesn't have front license plates. Wish I had plugs though.

go to a body shop supply they have nice black plastic plugs, youcant tell the holes were there :wink:

Yeah well if you do have to have a front plate you will need 2 more holes. Seems the stock holes are too wide and I guess my dealer drilled 2 more holes closer together to attach the plate. It does not look like it could have been done any other way. So total I have 4 holes. Anyone else with a front plate have this done?

Well i live in Illinois with you my man and i have never put a front license plate on any of my sports cars. I have only been pulled over once in 6 years(only got a warning too). It was actually the first car i owned(97 avenger ES) and it was the first night i took the plate off. Since then never gotten hassled over it once. I don't live in Chicagoland like you where the cops are more strict on crap like that though. Peace!!

I machined 2 plugs out of nylon and going to paint them silver to match my car.

Yeah I don't have a front plate on my Supra but the STi it does not look that bad with a smoked cover over it. I have never been specifically pulled over for it in my Supra, but it has been brought up when I got pulled over for other reasons. Never got a ticket for it though. Same with tinted windows. Anyway just putting a front plate on is less of hassle for me. Especially with a car that looks like the STi does, the cops will be looking for any reason to pull me over.
