Who went to the LA Auto show? The Subaru exhibit was a real disappointment...no '04 models were on display! Not even the WRC car was the '04 model! The STi was absent as expected but at least display the '04 WRX! The only thing that was cool was the H6 tranny display and the opened boxer engine.

I did find out though, that one of the guys from the Monrovia dealership offers lifetime complimentary oil changes for as long as you own the car! I have never heard of that from anyone...I might consider getting my STi from them in the future for that reason alone.

I agree. The Subaru display was pretty weak. Nothing but bug-eyes everywhere. We knew the STi wasn't going to be there, but I was expecting to see the rest of the facelifted Impreza range.

On another note, the Evo is uglier in person. It definitely looks better in the pictures. And that bright yellow has a slightly faded look to it. Not quite "Blaze Yellow" faded, but a slight pastel tint nonetheless. Why is a good yellow so difficult to find? The NSX looked great. The yellow IS300s look good, too. What's the deal?

I love the Evo yellow. And I think the car looks alot worse in the pictures then in person. It had actually grown on me when I saw it in person and got to sit in it. Can't wait to drive it. As far as yellows go heres a ? : Which is worse the old blaze yellow or the new darker orange yellow that subby is using???

is you're refering to both of the yellows that subaru has used lately, i think they both SUCK! :evil: as someone for whom yellow is their favorite color, i'm dying for subaru to use a proper "racing yellow" (like the evo, the mazda, etc.) i hated the faded, butter color on the early wrx and this new yellow is worse. come on sub, make my day.

I like the old M3 yellow that use to come on the M3 lightwieght edition. It was a bright highlighter color visible from 10 miles away. It made a statement and was limited availability.
