Was sitting at home yesterday and it was just gone past 4.20 (if ya know what i mean);) .And i got thinking about our speedos being of by a few m.p.h, so i was just wondering would that effect the odometer reading.
So does my car have less miles then it says?
If this is a repost, please flame at will.

It depends on which way it is off. If it reads faster than actual you will put more miles on your car than actual. Slower is the opposite.

The ECU knows how fast you are traveling. Its the way the speedo reads the signal that is scewed. You are getting accurate mileage.

We've covered this to death. Search for "speedo error" and "speedometer error" and the odometer is discussed in some of those threads.
