_Almost_ got one in Pittsburgh. Dealer called this afternoon and said they just took it off the truck and I can pick it up tomorrow. (White/Gold)

Never driven a WRX before, but everything I have read tells me that it will be all its cracked up to be. Heck, the last Subaru I drove was a GL-10 Turbo years ago. 8) Those engines liked to self-destruct, so I hope Subaru finally got the Turbo down-pat.

Picked it up.. I like the White/Gold alot more than I thought I would. It makes the STI stuff stand out and yet has an understated look to it.

Cant wait on the break-in to be done (Long story on that that my dealer told me, but I'll post that later in the Powertrain section). Even without opening it up, I am impressed with the power!

I hadnt left the dealer 20 minutes before someone honked and asked me to roll down my window at a light. The kid said "Whoa! That is an awesome car dude!"

Hey, congrats on the new car!! We should meet up sometime once I pick mine up. What dealer did you get your car from? I'm waiting for mine this month too, my dealer told me July 3rd, but I'm hoping earlier... BTW I bought mine from Suburban Subaru in the North Hills area.

i just went back and was reviewing old posts of mine and saw the pictures of my nearly virgin STi.

Damn, I like this car!
As to gas, I have a Sunoco about 4 blocks from my house that has 94 octane, but it was $1.99 a gallon when I filled up yesterday

As to pinging, not a peep from my car and I am just under 3k miles.
