Alright, I know we kinda discussed this before, but I've just noticed something pretty weird.
For circumstances that I won't complain about, I haven't been making the insurance payments for my Celica GTS. When I graduate here in May, I'll be taking those payments over....no big deal.
I went to progressive to get an idea of how bad they'll beat us up on the STi. I quoted out an 04 WRX. Quote came back at $649 every 6. So for the STi we'll probably be north of $700 every 6.
Just for the hell of it I then put in what I would be paying for the Celica....hoping to get some idea of how much my payments would go up. A GTS that is 4 years older than a brand new TURBO WRX costs $50 more per 6.
How the hell does that work? Does the 4-door thing really make that much of a difference? I figured the whole turbo thing would offset that.
