So, im gonna be doing this on tuesday probably, i wanna get it done in say 3 or 4 hours, i need to take out the original down pipe, and exhaust and install the downpipe and q300, im not sure if thats enough time to do it on jacks stands, but im gonna try if you think its possible. (never done an exhaust before) a step by step guide by memory would be sweet if its not asking to much, or at least a link to a good one. ill probably pop out the intercooler for the install to, if thats an option in one of the install guides. thanks homies.

thats easy stuff u could deff get this done in 1 day, have fun and take your time, the hardest part of this install will be the nuts that hold the downpipe to the turbo and re-installing these nuts on the new downpipe. (make sure you have some kind of EM like a cobb AP after this u must have this to install a DP)

3 to 4 hours is doable, but maybe not if you haven't done it before. Some of the bolts that hold the heat shield on are a SUPER pain to reach (imo).

Also, did you pick up an aftermarket heat shield? If not you'll have to account for time to cut the stock heat shield to fit over the Invidia down pipe.

I removed the intercooler when I did mine as well, it just makes reaching everything much easier.

Thanks for the graph! I just ordered the same exact setup for mine this week, just waiting for everything to come in the mail!

@pimpmafuqa, did you order a new OEM Turbo to Downpipe gasket? I've been told that the Downpipe comes with the gasket needed on the catback, but you'll need to get a new gasket from the Turbo to DP.

Also, did you order any aftermarket hangers? From research I've done it turns out that the stock hangers are not stiff enough to handle aftermarket exhausts, so if you do any spirited/track driving, your exhaust will have it's own dance party under the car. (Tons of movement..)

(Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.. I'm only going off of what I've read on the forums so far.)

I might be a little late on this thread as he might have already installed it, but just figured I would throw my two cents out there.

I haven't seen any review threads of the full Invidia TBE, so I'd be curious to see if you did get it installed, what pain points there were.. if any!

I should have everything I need next week (at the latest) to begin my install. I'll do a full How-To guide on this system with pictures and pain points I had.

@HydroSTi - Is there anything else you can think of that I would need? I'm already looking at buying the COBB Tuning Turbo Heatshield, because those temperatures that RallySportDirect showed just kinda made my stomach turn. I know it wouldn't be bad, but if I'm spending the money, whats another $65?@
