I have to admit what first drove me to the magazine was the picture of Import Tuner's Model Search Winner Joli Robinson on the cover. I almost missed the 350Z behind her, it's kind of an optical illusion  Sorry, no scanner, folks, but it's out on the newsstands so check it out.
Anyway, there's an article of the WRX STi and it was a rather good article. The large hood scoop that bothered the writer at first seemed to grow on him...but then why not when you got a car that grips tenaciously to mountain roads and does the 1/4 mile in 13 flat (so he claimed)? What was really cool about this article is the pics on the first page of 5, yes count 'em 5, STi's in a row, all of the blue/gold color combo. Guess that's the official magazine color combo that SOA has decided upon.
The issue also lists both the WRX and the STi on pages 139 and 140 as 2 of 14 cars that our US troops can get with their "danger pay". Except they messed up and swapped the pics. DUH.
