They said that Subaru hinted them a price between 28,000-32,000. Ohh yea if its true.
God, can you imagine the entire executive staff of Mitsubishi craping their collective pants if the STI actually came out with a 28k MSRP. Now thats a drycleaning bill  LOL

I used to subscribe to import tuner! Then i noticed that all the cars in it had incredibly stupid Batmobile combat body kits, 15k in ICE, and were sucking more NOS than a root canal patient. My moto is "screw the looks love, make the sucker MOVE!" Then you can spruce up the looks but don't make it look like something from PeeWees' Playhouse meets The Batmobile(the really gay batmobile from Batman Forever and Batman and Robin)

Again, I'm probably STILL full of crap but I think it's gonna be right at $32,000.

Well all i gots ta say is it better not go for more than 32k. Like i said in a previous post i have allocated a certain amount for this car. If it goes over 32k then i say screw it and start looking for a 97 NSX. Kelley blue book has private party 97' NSXs with 50k miles priced in the low 40k range. If the sti sells for say 33-35k then i would rather pay another 8k and get an NSX! The NSX will be just as fast, handle better(it was second in Road and Tracks Best handling cars in the world test back in 1999/2000). The reason it wasn't #1 was because it had the smallest tires in the comparo. And it is SOOOO much sexier/better looking than the STI. Subaru is great for build quality but the NSX is the most bulletproof exotic ever built, other than tires and clutch it is so cheap to maintain. But i believe the STI is gonna be 31k thus making it an unpassable performance deal so this is all moot! Peace!!
