I'm a Subie dealer and I don't think that things are going to come out late April or early May. It won't be any later than that. I just don't know when in that time frame that it will be.

Depending what specs you are looking for, most were released in Jan. The only 'specs' still unknown are price and weight as far as I can tell.

And yeah....your guess is as good as anyones on that. There hasn't been an official date for pricing set.

I am wondering when the car mags will get one to put through it paces and do some comparos on. I would think they will get one before we do.

Man I hope the mags at least get a hold of it soon. I'm dying for more on the car. I've been reading EVERY article on the Evo and I really want the STi...but I'm getting a little impatient......

I believe the new WRX's have the option of a sunroof, but not the STI. I am assuming this is because of the roll cage, but then how is it going to be an option on the WRX?

It's not a roll cage but rather a reinforcing crossmember. It seems it's not as important in the Rex or they probably wouldn't have made the moonroof an option.

yea i hope i can get the moonroof in my car, but then again that is a big concern is the bodys ridgitty and when ur taken turns.....having to worry about the flex, but ah who cares im spenden soo much why not have one for looks though too! :wink:

But as well i think i heard april too is when were gunna know all the specs

But i guess its all rumorrs!

if u want to know the specs on both the 2004 wrx and the STi just go to the official website and order a brochure, i got mine in about 4 days and i live in California and they mail them from New Jersey, this brochure is very informative and they also send a letter telling you when to expect the new STi

im guessing that they we will be an option because on the brochure if u look at the silver wrx interior page it syas you can add on a moon roof, etc. and if you look close on some STi pictures you will notice there is no sun roof and of course subaru would show the best model and options on their show cars, so maybe there isnt even a sunroof option on the STi, ihope there will be though.

to see that there is no sun roof study the pictures of some auto show pictures of the STi very well, and also look at the pic where the rally STi andthe regular STi are racing side by side

about the fog lights i dont think they will be on the STi because of the front logos, but maybe they will make the high beams in the head lights have a fog light feature? i dont know... :roll:

So do we believe that they know this information and it's set in stone but their just not telling us? or Do we believe that things like weight and price are still tentative and subject to change?

I think until we actually get the car everything is tentative. They can always make it a little lighter by using more aluminum and they can price it any way they want.

well i gurantee that if it is above $32,000 there will be some dissapointed people and fans, and the biggest problem will be less sales, even though that won't effect me hehehe
