Now i'm driving in my Aspen White Sti :D
I couldnt wait any longer, love the car, still breaking it in. The gear whine, diff sounds, torque all make for a car unlike many others.
Alot of my supra friends never got it, why I opted for the 2 instead of a Supra, it was the way I always got out smiling after a drive, while they didnt have the same grin. I only sold my MR2 it for this car but its good to note that it puts the same smile on my face when I get out of it and to me, thats a rare quality to find.

Maybe i'll do a comparison just to give my opinions on the differences, but as brash and harsh as the car is, even uncivilized at times, when you get out of it, its like the whole drive was an excersize in play time :D (BTW anyone who complains about the stock suspension should just go back to their cushy caddy... this thing is FAR more comfortable than my 2 w/ teins, its like a vacation for me ;) )

sorry, its a rant, I'm going back in the garage to sit in it now. 2days - 161miles and counting :D

Good choice though.
I've always wanted to drive a mr2, and with some mods they can be as capable of supras easily. How fast was yours?
We need pics of the new and old ride.

MR2's are a total kick!
I couldn't agree w/ you more! I also have decided to keep my '89SC (it's white too, but i painted the black around the lights white as well!!) I've worked so hard on that thing! and it's so freaking light and fast! Only thing is that it has a LOT of problems! Everytime something is upgraded, something else needs more upgrading, but overall the fun factor on the car is a perfect 10!!!

The STi pics will be up soon :D Too bad I didnt keep the MR2 like some of you did. As for speed it had about 250rwhp at regular boost levels, 15psi. The guy that has it now said he beat a supra tt already w/ it so I'm assuming he cranked up the boost, TD06 on my car was capable of up to around 350rwhp. :D

I had both a 91T and later on, an 86. Despite the large disparity in power, and the 186,000 miles on it when I bought it, I liked the 86 best. It was just kart-like to drive and made the 91T feel like the nervous beast that it was around corners. The 91T was used on a logging expedition (crunch), and the 86 was just a temp until my other wheels got back into service. If I could have, I would still have the 86 today.
