This is pulled from the information they have on the Dodge SRT-4:

Although, Chrysler has published the SRT-4's engine output as 215 hp, these numbers reflect Car-Video.com's belief that the SRT-4 engine's true output is approximately 260 hp. Check back often for updates. The actual production model may have the more reasonable 215 hp. If so, these numbers will be altered to reflect it. Updated 2/14/03.

This implies that they are estimating the numbers for the SRT-4 based on their opinion. Which means that the data for the STi is probably produced the same way. Also, the title for the STi info is

2004 Subaru Impreza WRX Sti Sedan (U.S. spec speculation)

But I do hope they are right, or at least close. The numbers they estimate aren't too shabby.

You have to be very careful with this particular site; they've caught people before who don't read the fine print. They are not test numbers, they are not real specs. They are all basically made up, but it's really too much detail to be just pulled out of thin air.

Hmm...that Cartest program seems pretty cool...I'd like to run some numbers on that and compare it to some real test numbers, say for the WRX and see how it comes out
