How Much Did you Pay for Your STi?

My dealer is quoting $10K above MSRP!!!

i got mine 1.5k over msrp and have to drive 1000mi back home
i'm happy happy to see the 9 mi turns to 1070 mi when i'm home and happy to see the whole 1000mi 4k rpm and under and goes to 7k at 1001 mi
very happy, u won't regret, i would pay anything under 3k over msrp, very very happy :lol:

I have to say, I am a little suprised that people are paying over MSRP. I bought my silver/silver STi in Augusta, Maine, and got it for about $1,000 under sticker! Maybe it's because I live in Maine, and they are harder to sell up here. I absolutley love the car, but if I had to pay over MSRP, I'd have to think twice about it. Did anybody else get theirs for under sticker, or am I the only one?

$35.507.75 OTD Tax, License, Paint seal, Ulpostery guard, Undercoating, turbo gage, security upgrade, center consul upgrade, wheel locks, compass mirror, etc. the usual crap. Oh Yah, they through in a large WRB STi poster which I stuck in my garrage. 8)

25500 bought it from laratu. This car is everything i dreamed and more. Let the modding begin! picked it up in december

NO TRADE JUST BOUGHT FROM LARATU FROM OVER ON HERE . HE WAS SELLING HIS SO I drove 7 hourse to get it and 9 to go home.(took the long way home) aslo it had mods on it like front and rear jdm beams, pink i ,red mod frnt and rear strut bars, heavily anal about cleaning it.. i am not complaining about that.hmmm let me see. He also had the badges taken off and eplaced to be perfect . Theyare not even a half a degree off.

So with the extra money i saved i spent it on taxes for te car,mods and taking my girl out cause she went all that with to get car and having the car for 4 days we went into a ditch in it. And she broke her arm in it. So now it is getting fully front suspension and a repaint.. .MODS THAT I HAVE WAITING FOR INSTALL ARE:

I got an offer from a dealer.
Tell me is this is any good...

30,400 for the car to buy
he will give 16K for my 02 WRX w/ 28K miles on it.

Is that fair? I wanted 500 over invoice and then 17K for my car

Well "book" is a relative term. NADA, Kelley, etc.

however I went to the kelley website, punched in my stats and miles

16,400 trade 18,900 private sale So I thought 17K in the middle (actually under the middle) would be fair. NO SALE, they let me walk.
However like my pop always says, whenever you reach a negotiating deadlock, whoever talks next loses.

Your better off selling your car yourself!!!!! Especially if it's in good shape. If not take the deal.

How much can I bargain the dealer down from MSRP? The dealer has no markup and they have plenty in stock....should I be able to get it for a little bit over invoice + tax, license and freight fees?

You should be able to get it for a little UNDER invoice + tax, liscence, and freight fees.
