The sky is the limit with tuning. I personally am gunna add on a few things here and there that add the most bang for the buck, but I dont have the $$ to take it too far.

Congrats on number 400 bud!
I just spent $850 on a stereo. 8)
(Wanted something basic, no need for some heavy sub+amp system)

My next mod will be stainless steel brake lines, as soon as a kit comes out, along with some ATE brake fluid. After that, I'm going to sit back and enjoy 300hp. If Prodrive comes out with a US power pack, I'll just have to buy that, too.
:D!! you did it murley. congrats! now say something useful with the next post. ;)
$1200 stereo
lowering kit when available and after i'm out of warranty.
O.Z. supperleggeras, toyo t-s-1 tires to run everyday, the stockers wont last long on road trips, and i wanted the gold wheels with the black exterior
just for the audio system... for now... ;)
Audio system, and Intake system. btw, how many cats does the STi have? I might mod the exhaust too...of course this is on an '06 or later model and it might come with an audio system then hehe

btw, what mods are we talking about? strictly performance mods only?
Radar detectors

Anything you can wire, bolt, strap, stick or glue on to your car. Unless of course it is fuzzy dice......we dont all need to become aware of your bad-taste.
Probably just around 1.5k/2k for an audio system..
I have spent over 20k apiece on my last two project cars. I expect to spend no less than that on the STI since it will be my project for like the next 3 years. Peace!!
Got mine in PA!

I wont be getting my STi for a while as im short on cash as i just moved to the usa from australia. But when im ready (plus if i wait i should be able to take delivery quicker and cheaper i hope) i will be fitting an APS front mount intercooler, unichip ECU, full exhaust... thats all i think performance. Plus i will fit a sterio, nothing over the top, a 2nd set of wheels, something dressy like 19" , keep the 17's with the rubber for the track etc. that would be about it. I owned an STi back in Aus and virtually did the same as i mensioned. i run 12.1 with a decent size sterio on a 2ltr MY99 STi 2 door.
lol, its a race...
me - prolly $5000
Most on CompuStar alarm, DVD/MP3/NAV/quality amps + speakers... etc... And 18 wheels with S03s for summer and Alpine's for winter..
