So, something new today.

When shutting off the engine, after it has completely stopped, I hear a short “goose honk” like sound.

The only thing I did today was install a Catback exhaust, but I did recently have injectors, fuel pump, FP reg, Boost control solenoid, ELH and a fresh tune.

Car is going back to the shop who installed parts and tune on Monday because I have some driveability issues, but I’️m curious to know if you guys are familiar with this sound?

Nobody's going to know for sure without hearing it and perhaps some work. Yeah, what your asking is has anyone else tracked down the same exact sound coming from the same exact location . . .

Might just be the regulator dropping below regulated pressure?

I've added a lot of mods to my car and it does all the cool noises. It does Chitty chitty bang bang fuel system, recirculation valve whistle, valve overlap rap, equal length header Porche 911 mimic, flatfoot shift pop, header scream, methanol dance and all the top 40 engine sounds.
But it doesn't goose honk. When you find out what it is, I need to add that part!
I don't need more power. Since the engine is too loud for the sound system, I might as well listen to it.
Pull up, jump out, goose honk, adjust shades. I can dig it!

I yet to have it repeat since the weather has turned cooler. The day I heard it several times, it was 95F

It's probably just specific heat from the block after engine shutdown, forcing coolant into the overflow reservoir.
Now we have to figure out how to make it do that every time!
