Re: Seriously need some help here

Looking at the pics from the recently delivered STi's in the US I've noticed that they do not have a side signal indicator. However, the STi I photographed at the Toronto car show does have one (I'll try to attach pic). Is this yet another difference between the US and CDN versions?

Yeah, here's something else. If you look on top of the steering column of ANY subie, there is a little switch. That is the "Canadian parking light" switch. See in the US the standard parking lights on the stick go off as soon as you remove the key. Canada requires a car on the road to have parking lights on at all times. That switch allows them to stay on even without the key. Interesting, EH???

Okay, I'm starting to build a difference list between Americans and Canadians, in the eyes of an STi:

Appearently Canadians:

- can't do without music (stereo standard),
- have problems turning and parking (side indicator and parking lights),
- have small cold bums (seat heater standard in smaller seats), and
- can see better in the dark (no HID lights).

Is there a height adjustment for the Canadian headlights or no?

Cheers

I haven't seen one yet. There are three unpopulated control areas near the I/C water spray control. (I'm sitting in the car right now - you gotta love WLAN). The spot to the extreme right (closest to the steering column) appears seperate - that's probably were the HID hight control is in the US. I still wish I had the HIDs though.
