i've been doing research on some rims and tires for a little while now, and ive come across the exel M-6 rims and exel Maj rims with 235/45/17. we dont get snow here ever in northern california, but we do get rain. is there any specific type of tire i should look at to fit these measurements? i dont need an all out winter tire cuz i wont be in the snow, i might just need maybe an all season tire? thanks for the help everyone.

Well since you don't have to deal with snow I would go with the Pirelli P Zero Nero M+S. They were given the top ratings by the people that used them and they rated pretty much the best in a true side by side comparo especially on wet surfaces, see the folowing link...

Hope that helps and gives you a place to start.

rims: get the rota SDRs or TARMAC 2s. cheap for $650 for 4.

tires: anything that has water grooves into them. there are tons of them, cheap.

i bought some kumhos 712 for my wrx. waiting til rain starts to drop til i swap them in.
