Grimspeed EBCS problems

Ok so today my friend called me from our local install shop and said that his GS EBCS was making a constant clicking sounds. He recently just had his 12 STI custom tuned by a very reputable tuner. Ok so long story short his boost solenoid had shit the bed and was causing his car to under boost. So his reason for calling me was to tell me that his tuner said that this has been the 5th time he has heard about this issues and to watch out for mine being junk so I told him that I notice that ive been under boosting and that I just talk to my tuner and he wants me to send him some logs which I just finished doing. So my question is and forgive me if this has been brought up before but I'm curious to know if anyone else thats has a Grimspeed EBCS has had any issue with theres and could this possibly be the reason that im under boosting? My dyno came up with 322hp 384 ft lbs of torque at 21 psi boost and I can't even get passed 15psi. So I need sime feed back Fella's..

could it maybe be a boost leak somewhere? Im no where close to being an expert but I have the GS EBCS and mine is doing just fine. My buddy has a cobb one on his evo and hes under boosting by about 3-4 psi. Im interested to see whats causing this.
Craziest thing I know, but pull line off the solenoid port 2 on your ebcs after a pull and see if it is still pressurized. It shouldn't be. Mine was holding the tiniest amount of pressure and keeping my wastegate open.
if you reused the stock lines did you remove the restrictor pill?
No I didn't try that and yes the pill was pulled out when I did my dyno I had 21psi boost after all said and done. I just sent my tuner my logs. But if u look at this data log look down to the bottom and you will see where im at 6900 RPM's with only 10psi boost something if F-up I think its the GS EBSC let me know what ur thoughts are? Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Are you giving it 100% throttle from when you start your run? If you are something is definitely messed up. You go from 100% throttle position at 4100~ and then to around 40% and back to 100% at 6300.

Obviously throttle position will effect your boost. I'm going to assume you had the gas pedal pinned the entire time and say your throttle position sensor is messed up, not your EBCS
I did have it pinned and it seemed sluggish all the way through the pull. So how would determine something like that? Also if it was the throttle sensor that would be covered under warranty correct?

Yeah it's definitely going to act sluggish through the pull because it's acting as if you're only giving it half throttle instead of full.

Can you do another log? Include Accell. Position, Accell. Volt, and Battery Volt. This may help you narrow down what the problem is.
Yes, I will do another pull today for sure and add the throttle position. Now when u do a pull at what rpm do u usually shoot for?

The generally accepted method is 4th gear @ 2500 rpm
I saw that but my tuner said that 3rd was sufficient. I would also like to add that ever since I installed my boost gauge it shit the bed two weeks later. My install says its the sender that because its a cheap plastic that it didnt hild up to the heat? Anyways I just looked under the hood and.noticed that the hoses that connect to my boost sender are all literally falling apart could that be an issue that would contribute to my under boosting?

Definitely replace that hose but I'm fairly certain that's not your problem.
ok so I didn't have a chance to do a 2nd pull today because I had my to little rugrats with me all day which was great but I did a short run to the auto parts store so I could replace that faulty hose on my boost sender so anyways on my way there I did a small pull on 3rd gear and I got 15.5 psi and it felt aggressive so now i'm like WTF is the deal. I haven't heard from my tuner yet but I know that he's on top of it and realize that he has other to attend to as well. I ordered the new V3 AP it should be here on Tuesday so hopefully I'll do a few pulls on the new AP and see if there is any difference. also we had some cool weather today so that might have contribute to the more aggressive response earlier.
