I installed grimmspeed EBCS, according to the instructions manual I have to reduce the WGDC INITIAL AND WGDC MAX by 30%. So I reduced and tested.
Reached 0.68 bar = 9.86 psi
So loaded the stock map and reduced 20%
Reached 0.76 bar = 11.3 psi
Loaded the stock map and reduced 10%
Reached 0.85 bar = 12.32
Loaded the stock map reduced 5%
Reached 0.92 bar = 13.29 psi
So I finally installed the original stock map
Reached 1.06 bar = 15 psi
So i am wondering is that normal and why they instructed us to reduce the values by 30%!!
I am 100% sure of the installation, and i removed the restrictor pill as well. Please advise thanks.
The car is stock WRX STI 2012 except a crawford AOS can only.
