congrat on taking delivery and on insisting on msrp. i keep suggesting to people to shop around. i *think* you've got the record thus far for having the largest distance to your dealer. congrats again.
I very nearly went to NC to get it and burn up the 1K break-in miles on the way back...got it trucked to Texas instead. It had some good company on the way here 500SEL and a C32 AMG.
Idivinaq: You know, if you promise Murley a bunk and a great meal (or two) he might just trailer the STi to you in Cali. Heck, even paying for his gas will get it to you cheaper than Cali dealers.
