I received a call from my dealer this morning to let me know that my STi (Blue w/silver wheels) was in - their first that they received :p ! So I stopped by during lunch to check it out and it was sweet 8). Just like the EVO, it looks much better in person that in the mags. It still had alot of the white plastic on it and they still need to clean and prep it.

I took a bunch of pics with my digital camera that I will post in a bit. I am going to pick it up after work today. Accesories were already added, but I really didnt object to any that were on my car. Below is a break down of the price:

Added accesories: turbo gauge, added security, wheel locks and arm rest extension==> $32,256 + taxes, tags, titles, and dealer feels=>$33,400.

Some of my initial impressions:

-Hard to keep under 4K RMPs
-Looks much better in person
-Gear box seems very strong with nice short solid throws.
-Engine sounds mean and raspy with a deep growl
-Engine is very strong down low and is easy to launch in 1st
-Handling is great and the car is very stable
-Fit and finish is good. I wish the dealer would of thrown in some floor mats but no dice.
-I didnt notice any flapping off the hood or the scoop.
-There was minimal movement of the wing under high speeds but it was
hard to detect.

Here is my brother's post about my car:

Thanks for the pics. I don't like the blue with those rims in silver though. Its a nasty spray paint looking silver to me for some reason. Gotta go gold and then british black or gunmetal if you change the rims. Peace!!

I wish the wheels came in gun metal but IMO blue and silver looks hot :p ....gold just doesn't do it for me.

I agree, not a big fan of the gold rims. Since Subaru pretty much only posted the Blue/gold over the past few months, the blue/silver looked odd to me at first. It has grown on me now and I think it looks pretty sharp. Nice Car!

I think that the Black/Gold is an Awesome combo. I was looking at the pic in the other thread and it's really Impresive! Nice looking car...
