Pretty or not, does anyone have any advice on how to clean the damn things without scratching them? I'm worried that cleaners will either dry out the tires or remove to protective coating on the rims.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Then throw some wax on them to make it easier next time. Actually I prefer a synthetic sealant like Klasse because it protects better and lasts longer than wax.

Well the s2000 wheels were $800 each new w/o tires, and new sets with less than 500 miles would be on the market for $1000-15000 from new owners looking to upgrade immeditaly. So I made the same assumption.....

They run the expensive S02's as well.

thats the factory price not an aftermarket price right? for that you could get the prodrive p7 or p1 with rubber

Like I said "new", from the dealer or a couple places on the net I have seen them advertised. If you get a set off of someone's STi who does not want them, then I am sure you can get them cheaper.

I saw a rex with the set of the gold bbs rims. He had the bug headlight style, and a Sti spoiler .. well, that's what it looked like... i was too busy staring at the rims.... the light changed and he peeled off before I could get a real good look.
