I got it! I went up to memphis for the holiday weekend and woke up this morning to a call from the salesman. On my way home I was told that they are indeed doing MSRP, BUT they are adding 6k in options. The alarm, auto-dimming compass/mirror, and wheel locks were already installed at port. They also had already ordered a cargo tray, stupid rubber mats, tweeter kit, sumb/amp, and upgraded speakers. I told them that I didn't want any of that stuff. The salesmanager (see previos post in General) said take it or leave it, and that he needs to know now so he can call the next person in line if I don't want it. I said that I wanted to talk to the owner first. He balked and said it wouldn't matter since they specially ordered all of it for the STI (even though that is crap since it is all the same stuff out of a regular WRX). I told him to hold onto it until I had a chance to talk to the owner. About 2 hours later I was back in Jackson and decided just to swing by and see it in person. Sure enough salesmanager was sticking to the 36-38k price, and then the owner came in. I told him what was up, he went in to salesmanager's office, closed the door, came out NO LIE 15 seconds later, and said "I think MR. X would like to talk to you"...and sure enough... I drove it home and all over the city. MSRP plus the cost of the port installed stuff. I would've picked up the locks/alarm anyways. I guess I can eat the cost of that stupid mirror for how convenient this dealer location is. It is now sitting in my drive way. Hallelujah! Oh yeah, in case you haven't picked your's up yet and don't want to look retarded... you have to pull up on the collar that is on the stick shift, in order to shift into reverse. Heheheh! This car rocks my socks!
