Moved to Suspension forum. Out of what you list I would drop the number 1 item. Don't think it's really needed on an STi. I had a copy on mine and sold it and haven't looked back. I'd replace it with an X-brace in a heartbeat or TiC fender braces either of which offer more bang for the buck in my humble opinion. (Suspension/handling junkie right here-Lucille is now on rails)

2nd this. A strut brace isn't necessary when the towers are attached to the firewall as that acts as the bracing. A design like the Skyline R34, since it's engine bay is fresh in my mind, would benefit more as the strut towers are a good distance away from the firewall.

Exhibit A

Exhibit B

Edit: Wow our engine bays are cramped.

awesome. thanks for the info! i will definitely reconsider getting the tower brace.
I'd replace it with an X-brace in a heartbeat

Not sure exactly what you mean by #2... You have an STI according to your bio info under your name, do you mean upgraded struts and springs beyond stock? If you mean something like the JDM Pinks, I would suggest adding a Anti-Lift Kit and Roll-Center/Bump-Steer Kit to the list. They help dramatically on lowered cars. Oh, and bigger sway bars (dont forget to do endlinks at the same time)!
oh yes. the pink struts and springs from the STi catalog. and i did forget the sway bars, thanks for that!
alignment should be number one. you can get your car to handle almost any which way you want with a proper alignment
I have all these parts an agree but would ad x-brace and fender braces. Strut tower brace is easy to feel, can't say it makes the car handle better but it feels better. I did notice an improvement with front grip on a super hard incredibly tight bumpy corner I take fast. Anyways i got my jdm titanium bar for 100 so totally worth it all day. Also don't let people tell you what bracing will or won't ello bases upon totally general opinions.

Also a couple other great cheap parts are subframe lock bolts 20 depending on if your year can utilize them and the tic pink tranny cross
Member bushings 25$
Are you planning on autoxing at all?

You can get a lot of the same performance gains from the new arms with bushing replacements. Loads cheaper.

I'd also consider Whiteline Com-C front top hats.
