Re: Funk32's Build

Today I decided to tackle power supply and kill switch wiring. I think all went well, straight forward install.

new Dry cell battery is a PC925, it is not the lightest battery but it is low profile and should last awhile in case I forget to shut down the Armtech system.

The Armtech system is a pretty cool piece of kit, it houses a kill switch for inside the car and one for outside the car along with a rest button, all FIA approved. What you see is the Armtech main box, the alternator connects here along with the battery pos and neg, then the system grounds through the last connection.

Thanks, ya it would have been nice to have someone local to add some points but there are enough helpful people on here.

all welded up and in place, the rad is supported by 4 bushings while the IC is bolted in.

Both. I want to participate in hill climbs next year and there's lots of safety prep required. Cage, harness, fire suppression, full race suit/fireproof clothing. Many things I don't have. :crying:

I'm thinking Cusco blue for the cage or keeping it Aspen White. Not sure but I definitely want to do that and strip the interior + respray.

ah, yes I hear ya. I still need the fire suppression system and personal safety gear. I would also love to do some hill climbing races.

And I took some pics of the front end and how it is all bolted in and tied together, I am a bit bored waiting on parts lol.
