Anyone know what kind of fuel mileage the STi gets (UK or JDM)? Does anyone really care? This car could get 1/8 mile per gallon and I couldn't give a rats ass. My WRX gets on average 20-22 miles per gallon and that would never stop me from driving it whenever I can. The service crew at my local Subaru dealer think I never turn the car off, judging by the short time period between scheduled maintenance intervals.

I would like to know its fuel mileage though - do I have to increase my limit on my gas card or do I have to sell my Nomad to keep the STi in gas?

Before I got my first oil change, I was averaging 19 mpg, now I can get 20 mpg...in fact I think I only got 18.5 on my first tank of gas. Judging from that nasioc website, I assume I'll be getting the same thing...It's kinda ironic that I nearly get the same range on the WRX as my civic, but only cuz the WRX's tank is 15.9 gal as opposed to 11.9 gal. The WRX's range is close to 320, and the civics is around 360...so not too bad. But the cost of gas is definitely higher, since I'm paying about 10% more per gallon, and I'm buying about 40% more gas. I guess that's what I gotta live with when I get the STi too :(

But hey, you can get to the gas station a helluva lot faster than alot of cars out there!

You can get up to 24mpg's but you've got to be really disciplined in your driving. Keep the car at 100km/h and don't go into boost as much. You can get as little a 10mpg at times when you really slam the bam bam. Doesn't bother me a hoot. I love my STi.

I am sure I will be slamin the bam bam too :) That is why I am replacing my Legacy with an STi. So I can slam the bam bam, daily. I commute 2 hours a day and miss having a fun car to drive during that. Of course no slammin anything until after a good breakin.

I did get 29.13 mpg for a few tanks.

I drove from Burien to Tacoma in rush hour traffic and got almost 30 mpg. I just kept plenty distance from the car in front and kept it in 6th gear. On the open road, though, I get around 25 1/4 mpg.
