So I've been researching a way to know for sure if my fuel set up is adequate. If my calculations are correct my set up should be just fine, but any input or things I might not have thought of are welcome. I figured sharing might help someone else figure out if their fuel pump set up will be accurate.
So here is my set up
Aeromotive stealth 340 LPH (liters per hour at 40 PSI)
Aeromotive*|*11140 - 340 Stealth Fuel Pump Center Inlet
Injector Dynamics ID1000s
On the Injector dynamics site they show the flow rates of all of their injectors
Injector Dynamics - ID1000
Above is the link to the ID1000s and the Aeromotive 340 flow graph's
So to calculate I simply converted CC's to Liters
Injector dynamics is showing that the ID1000 flow rate is 1015cc/min at 3bar 43.5 PSI
After calculations each injector is capable of 1.015 liters per min
I then times that number by 4 (4 injectors on the engine)
And then times that by 60 (60 min in an hour)
1.015X4= 4.06L
4.06X60=243.6L
So if my calculations are correct I should have a safety net of 96.4 L per hour give or take a little for pressure differences.
Anyone have any input or see holes in what I'm doing?
