It was in a major motion picture......movies like this have cult followings, especially movies related to car culture. They can make 100 fast and furious movies and people will still go see them, because they have a cult following now. Cars in movies like this always sell for MUCH more than the original MSRP's or market values. The fact it was a WRX I think had some influence because of the MASSIVE subaru cult following in car culture. Even if the car was only in the movie for 6 minutes, it was a pretty intense 6 minute chase scene, and big screen chase scenes always get a lot of attention, Bullet, the original gone in 60 seconds(not the nicholas cage version), Vanishing point, etc etc, anyone in car culture circles is going to recognize cars in those movies, I think the Baby Driver WRX is the same way, it is immortalized on the big screen now. Heck it could have been an EVO but alas, it wasnt. LOL...someone should tell the producer they should have bought an EVO. Either way that WRX is a sick ride. Sure one could try and find another red 06 WRX like that one and clone it, but it wont be T H E one that was in the movie.
