hi guys. i just purchased this brand new item on an ebay auction.

the bummer is i completely misjudged its size. i need something smaller. i the rest of my audio system is on its way, so i haven't installed this item nor connected it to anything; i.e. it's totally unused.

yeah, my ebay name is "faeces". don't ask. (at least there was no risk it would be taken. )

if anyone is interested, please let me know. it retails for $280. i'll sell it for the auction price, but will ship and insure anywhere in the US for free. i'll put it up for auction in a few days if no one here takes it. thanks guys/gals.

What's wrong with how big it is? I've been looking at that exact enclosure....only in a 12".

i have a 8" tube in my old car which is comparatively tiny, so my expectations were completely wacked. the sub fits easily under the deck. it clears the rear deck by a few inches and is not impeded by the middle shoulder belt reel (that box in the middle of the underside of the rear deck). there is probably 10" to 12" on both sides (left and right) of the sub when centered. depth wise, it certainly slides back under the deck. oh heck...all this talking...lemme take a picture. gimme a few minutes...gotta juggle the kids...

well to add insult to injury, i talked to alpine and learned that my amp won't drive this sub. man this sucks. oh well. live and learn.

Sorry to hear that man. If it was a 12". I would snag it from you in a heartbeat.

make sure it'll fit. your enclosure could be at least 2" taller you can estimate from my pics how much room there is to spare.
