Hello All, If you ever have the front struts clunking after doing a spring install, and cannot find where the heck it's coming from, check the nut at the bottom of the strut (as most of us disassembled the strut to cut/replace the bumpstop). This nut holds the gas strut in the body. I guess I forgot to torque it down, and after a few days of driving the car, there was a loud clunk that developed. It would make a clunking noise over EVERY little bump. I was trying to figure it out for HOURS, and finally saw I had the nut loose.

Just figure I'd share this to save some people time.

I had the SAME EXACT problem, just fixed it this weekend
...
I did the spring install about 5,000 miles ago, and for the last few weeks I have had a horrible cluncking noise. It was probably the worst clunk I have ever heard in a car. I finally got a chance to pull the strut off the car to take a look at it, and found out the bottom nut had come loose. Now the car is soooo quiet :D
