Okay. . . strange request to those of you who already have your STi.

Could someone please measure the distance, C2C, between the bolt holes in the front bumper for the license plate? I know they're too wide for US plates, but I'd like to know if it's 8.312 inches or not. (I'm guessing that's JDM spacing for plates?)

Anyway, I have a Neuspeed front license plate bolt hole cover that I ordered months ago for my Civic, and didn't realize the spacing was wider for this thing than for our state-issued license plates. I know it was made to fit Hondas, but the fact that Neuspeed made it makes me wonder if it's a J-Spec accessory. If so, then we might have ourselves a nice little dress-up part for our bumpers in leiu of a front plate.

No hurry on this. . . won't have my car for a good two months or so.

imho i really don't think that any sti owner should have a front liscence. i know that in some states its illegal as it is in mine. no offense to anyone with it though it all has to do with choice. but i really think that it ruins the beautiful clean look of the front with that liscence plate on it
