This is my first WRX. I absolutely love the car and after owning it for about a year, I've finally put some money into some mods! Everything is installed but I'm waiting on my tuner to send me a limp map before I start it up. I installed a larger turbo and larger fuel injectors so I'm afraid to even start the engine before flashing the new map to it. I pushed the car outside to give it a bath and now I can't push it back in! My brake pedal is pretty much solid, and my front brakes are locked tight enough to prevent me from moving the car an inch. I did replace the rear rotors and brakes while I had the car in the garage and those wheels spin fine. Is this pressure usually released once the car is started? is there a way to release the pressure in the lines without starting the car? Is it safe to start the car before getting the map from the tuner (but not drive it)?
TL/DR: Front brakes locked. Would rather not start car yet, waiting on new map. How to relieve brake line pressure?
Appreciate anyone who has a minute to school a newb!
