Was at a little local Subaru meet and a guy had these in his WRX. Said a friend of his got them from Europe when he was there. He said since he got so many compliments on them, his friend decided to sell them. Anyone interested? I think I am going to get a set. He said about $80 for a set. Maybe if we get a few sets we can get a deal...

Damn, thanks Alfredo. It showed when I previewed it, but didn't when I posted it. I refreshed the screen for the hell of it, and the pic apeared. So, I don't know. I like them. I will still use WeatherTechs for the winter, but these are good enough for the summer. I like the dark color to hide dirt. They cover the floor pretty good too. The rears cover real good, even go up under the front seats some. I heard there is a hook for a floor mat in the STi, so I wonder if that hole in the mat will line up. They also have velcro stips on them to hold in place. I didn't ask the guy if he put the velcro on himself though. The backs are either a rubber coating or the carpet is kind of sewn into it, hard to explain. The logo is sewn right though to the back.

has anyone else noticed that in every/almost every magazine test drive report that had pics of the driver's side interior, the floorboard was filthy because the test drivers didn't put any mats down? i've noticed the same thing on the motorweek review. slobs. ;)

That is why I want to get a set of mats ahead of time so I have them to take with me to pick up my new STi because I don't think it will take much to get the blue carpet dirty.

So for 80+ dollars we would get 2 fronts and 2 rears?
Yes. I will call the guy either today or tomorrow to find out the details and if we can get a deal if we/I order more than 1 set.

I can't do custom one's that cheap, so I say we try to set up a group buy on these. I will call my parts guy tommorow and see if he can get them. Are these a Subaru part and if so anybody know the part #?

As far as I know they are. Guy I got the number from said he originally got his set from the guy when he went to Europe. He brought them back for him. He said he had so many compliments and people wondering where they can get some that the guy that got them decided to sell them. Anyway I talked to him today and he said he should have some next week. He has like 35 orders for them  so he tells me. I was all caught up in going to get my STi that I forgot to get an exact price. I have no idea on a part number. If you can set up a group buy soon JJ, I am in.

sti floor mats

the cdn sti has these floor mats, they are priced at 114.00 cdn thats 84.40 $ U.S. at 1.35 exchange rate , the dealers here arn't fussy about selling them into the U.S. because of the paper work, if there was a group that wanted like 10 sets, it would maybe worth them doing the customs paper work and the freight,

The easiest way to do it would be to have one person (preferably IN Canada) order all of them. Then they could ship them person-to-person to everyone else. Anyone else have an idea of how to best work this? Not having ever been a part of a group-buy certainly hampers my judgement.
