Tial BOVs are built solid to hold boost, just a woosh of air when you let off, all business
For those running BOVs
Which one makes the best sound, and is good quality? I am thinking of trading/ selling my TurboXS bov mainly because it's a little to loud for me. Looking for something a little different.
Also if you have anything you would want to trade just let me know =)

I actually really like the Tial ones also. Do you have a recommendation to which one specifically? Are they VTA?
Dam good question. I bought mine with a Turbo XS BOV and I've been wanting to change it for quite a while for the same reason.
TiAL makes solid products. never used one of their BOVs tho. i have their EWG and that thing is a tank. American made:tup:
Both their Q and 50mm are stellarI actually really like the Tial ones also. Do you have a recommendation to which one specifically? Are they VTA?
I'm running GFB. I like it. it's 50/50 vta/recirc so it's not loud at all, and I can set it to 100% recirc whenever I want.

Personally I don't like the HKS squeal :lol:out of all the ones ive heard the HKS is the best sounding , Have a listen here

21 turbo cars later and I think I am ready to give you my opinion..... If you car is holding boost fine then don't touch it. If you just want something louder then I might understand but always keep in mind that just because is louder doesn't mean is best.
You want a BOV that acts fast (opens and closes), and doesn't leak. As far is the sounds, well, I prefer mine quiet but unfortunately my stock STI BOV is loud because of the amount off boost I am running.
With all of that being said, I can't justify spending the money on a BOV unless what I said (leaks boost too early)..my .50c

my friend has the hks on his supra and it is very loud and high pitched
I would run the stock one, but i thought it wasn't good past 22 psi? if it's good to like 25ish i would deff run it.21 turbo cars later and I think I am ready to give you my opinion..... I have a different meaning for BOV but I will keep it to myself so I don't get points.

Turbosmart, Kompact BPV; great recirc sound, solid piece. Like Tial, anything they make is great.

First generation Greddy Type-S was great, probably on the loud end, it's been years. If you buy a new model, plan to rebuild it with a better diaphragm.
First gen HKS SSQV sounded incredible. No squeal, nothing like the newer ones. Hard to find, not great candidates for a rebuild.
