did i read somewhere that the Canadian version has pass-through, but no HID?

can anyone verify?

any Canadian friends want to work a deal? I am an avid snowboarder, but do not want to bother with a rack...

let me get this straight....

I can confirm. CDN models have no HID's but we have pass through. The headlights allow DRL's - Daytime Running Lights

Just a quick aside. I am quite happy with the regular headlights. Also there is quite a controversy brewing in Germany. The HID's are considered way too bright for oncoming traffic even with available tilt. It appears that they will probably going back to regular headlights and daytime running lights even over there.

Bah, I won't be missing the HID headlights. Sure, it's relatively convenient for the driver, but it annoys the hell out of everyone around! Besides, we get a radio

Pass through is pretty much only good for skiis and 2 by 4's. Although I don't expect to be loading any building supplies in this car, so I guess it's for skiis.

I have a large board, it fits thru the pass thru barely. Getting more than 2 boards thru not an option. even two boards might be tight. If you are really eager for pics I could get them possibly. It is baically the dimensions of the rear arm rest. In fact it is the very piece that the arm rest comes out of. ie. You pull out the armrest to access the release for the passthru.
