You have two on the top of the manifold, which are M8 bolts, and most important. The starter under the TMIC is the main ground for the battery's negative cable.
There are also two important grounds on the bottom of the motor connecting the lower part of the motor to the chassis. On a factory setup, they are bolted to the manifold's heat shields. With an aftermarket header, there are pre tapped holes in the heads you can run a bolt in and then bring it to the side frame rail ground.
There are also smaller grounds on each side of the fenders and an important one on the firewall that bolts to the transmission.
Upgrading the wire isn't too necessary, having a good contact point is what counts. You can always create your own grounding kit to work off the factory grounds too, I would stick with 8 or 10 gauge wire. Anything larger is overkill.
