Any of you current WRX guys have any insights into the ECU options for the WRX? What I'd really like is a fully-programmable ECU that ties into the fuel injectors, knock sensor, and wastegate. It'd be nice if I could control my fuel maps, say down to 100RPM increments. I'd also like it to cut boost if a knock condition was signalled.
Anything close to this for the current WRX or the non-USDM current STi?

that is nice. anyone know about pricing? also, since it's a re-map, i assume you can't do anything realtime?

I thought someone on NASIOC said something about $1100 for the remap. I'm not even real sure how it is they get all that flexibility into the tuning. I'd like to find out more.

by "realtime" i maen can you tune it while you're running. it sounds like you have to download the ecu to your laptop, edit it, and upload it back to the car.

Actually, that ECUTEK system isn't user changable. To have it changed, you have to have an authorized tuning shop do it.
