dealer just called to say the sti's are released in canada,thats 4 days earlier than they said and before the dealer meetings in Quebec this week end, soooooo thats means monday or tuesday ,hopefully, :wink: :wink:

I got the call from my guy yesterday (Calgary) pm saying that the would be on a truck today (Thursday) should be ready to fly on Monday, latest Tuesday.

if the U.S "sti" retails @ 31000.00 the dollar exchange @ 1.36 now ,was @ 1.6 during the winter, so 31000.00 x1.36=42160.00 so the dealers in the U.S. are selling at msrp+, here in canada the msrp is 46995.00+destination charge of 1300.00$, its subaru themselves that are chargeing us for an xtra 4500.$, Go figure???

More standard options: heated seat, stereo, side blinkies, trunk passthrough, DRL to comply with Canadian gov't, etc.

Okay, maybe it doesn't add up to $4500 but its a start at figuring it out.

I talked to my dealer today (May 26) and he said most probably next week too. I'm sooooo excited!

Also, I can't help but notice that I said "I talked to my dealer" ... sounds like a drug deal going down. "Gimme 46 thousand worth of speed", cause that's what I'm actually saying. Same effect too, I probably won't sleep for a month!
