Durability

I've thought about this several times while driving to work. I drive half of my 30 mile commute on the freeway and half on washboard dirt road. The car gets rattled pretty good no matter what I do especially with the dunlops (they're almost worn enough to justify buying new ones ). I know ALL cars under these circumstances get worn a bit, like extra creaks and rattles. But how does the STi hold up to this near daily abuse? What should I be keeping an eye on for wear? And when the common suspension pieces do wear out, should I go aftermarket for something stronger, or replace with OEM? I'm not a fan of OEM parts, so I'd prefer to go with something else anyway. How about springs/struts for such driving? Something that'll still handle good on the twisties but won't lose it's composure on the dirt?

go with an RCE black/Bilstein set up, or RCE tarmac 2 coilovers and have myles (the owner) dial in what he thinks would be optimal for your environment. he knows his shit
Tarmac/K&W V3 is the best street coilover money can buy for this car. Suspension wise nothing really wears out for daily abuse. Creaks and rattles can be addressed by getting a louder exhaust

solution to noise is more noise!
I've had mine on quite a few rought dirt and gravel roads. No worse for the wear, and I think it helped shake out the rattles.
I've noticed some extra creaks now my catless DP is sitting in the garage instead of under the car. I'll have to put it back on soon so I think everything is still tight like it was day 1.
