I've thought about this several times while driving to work. I drive half of my 30 mile commute on the freeway and half on washboard dirt road. The car gets rattled pretty good no matter what I do especially with the dunlops (they're almost worn enough to justify buying new ones :tup

. I know ALL cars under these circumstances get worn a bit, like extra creaks and rattles. But how does the STi hold up to this near daily abuse? What should I be keeping an eye on for wear? And when the common suspension pieces do wear out, should I go aftermarket for something stronger, or replace with OEM? I'm not a fan of OEM parts, so I'd prefer to go with something else anyway. How about springs/struts for such driving? Something that'll still handle good on the twisties but won't lose it's composure on the dirt?
